Amy Levin, with NIU’s Department of English/Center for the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality, will discuss the book as it relates to the Klan in the Midwest and then NIU History Professor, Dr. Stan Arnold, will share the background about Sundown towns in Illinois.

This event is part of Arts in Action fall programing, sponsored by the DeKalb County Community Mental Health Board.
