Brown Bag / Local Lore: September – Museum Spotlight – Southern Partners

 

 

September’s Brown Bag/Local Lore program is going on the road! The last in a three-part series featuring DeKalb County’s museums, information about the southern part of DeKalb County will be highlighted. The Hinckley Historical Society, Sandwich Historical Society, Shabbona-Lee-Rollo Historical Museum and Waterman Area Heritage Society will all be sharing details about their current displays, upcoming events, and future plans. This program, sponsored by the DeKalb County History Center and Ellwood House Museum, will be on Thursday, September 1 at 12:00 at the Sandwich Public Library.

The Brown Bag/Local Lore program is free and open to the public. These hybrid talks are on the first Thursday of the month and are generously sponsored by Mary E. Stevens Concert and Lecture Fund. September’s “Museum Spotlight” will be held at the Sandwich Public Library, 925 S. Main Street in Sandwich.
