Holiday at the Homestead

Visit the Glidden Homestead, 921 W. Lincoln Hwy, DeKalb, on December 3, from 12-4 pm for the annual “Holiday at the Homestead.” The home of the “Father of Barbed Wire” will be decorated, treats provided, and student musicians from DeKalb High School orchestra will perform in the parlor. “Annie’s Story Time” for families, in collaboration with DeKalb Public Library, will be held at 1 pm. Special gift shop items, including hand-forged blacksmith items, available for purchase. $5 admission supports operations, free for children and Glidden Homestead members.
