Historic Preservation Month

May is National Historic preservation month! To celebrate check out our new DeKalb County touring app and discover numerous historic locations throughout the county. https://outandabout.oncell.com/en/index.html

There is also plaque being award to the Sandwich Historical Society’s Stone Mill Museum, the Shabbona Hotel was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and the History Center has a virtual program about historic preservation with Dr. Norm Moline on May 20.
