
Hands-on History – Cookbook Creations
The History Center is proud to announce a new series of programs for families called “Hand-on History.” On the second Saturday of the month, families are invited to take a closer look at some of the objects featured in the new exhibit “History of DeKalb County in 100 Objects.” Stories, fun facts, and interactive activities are all part of this drop off program.
During “Cookbook Creations,” children will discover more about the fascinating story connected to historic cookbooks and old recipes. Children will make handmade cookbooks as well as a rice crispy wreath as a treat. They are also encouraged to bring a favorite recipe to include in the cookbook.

The program is a $3 charge per child – paid upon arrival at the event.
