Frame of Mind student art exhibit at Ellwood House

The Ellwood House Museum’s second annual K-12 art initiative, Frame of Mind, is currently on exhibit through May 19.

Works by DeKalb County K-12 student artists are featured in an on-site exhibit in Ellcourt, one of the museum’s historic homes. Each work of art was submitted by DeKalb County teachers, selected by a jury from Kishwaukee Valley Art League and Jubilee Artisans, and professionally framed by Franklin’s Frames & Art in Sycamore.

At the conclusion of the exhibit, local businesses will be able to “rent” the artwork for one year to display in their lobbies, offices, and stores.

To learn more about the exhibit, including photos of the artwork and rental information, visit ellwoodhouse.org/youth-programs.

Ellwood Explorers: Frame of Mind is made possible with support from the Cy Miller Foundation.
