February Brown Bag lunch “Ask an Archivist”
You have made it through the busy holiday season. Now it is time to tackle that “to do” list of getting things organized at home. The DeKalb County History Center is ready to help! Have questions about how to save that old family photo, or preserve fragile newspaper clippings, or maybe you are worried about grandma’s old scrapbook. Then mark your calendar for the February 6 Brown Bag Lunch to have these questions and more answered.
Rob Glover, the archival and collection specialist at the DeKalb County History Center, will lead the conversation during the program “Ask an Archivist.” He will start by providing some general tips on how to take care of those special family treasures. Then, there will be time for the audience to ask their specific questions and receive guidance with some practical suggestions.
The Brown Bag Lunch program is a partnership between the DeKalb County History Center and Ellwood House Museum generously funded by the Mary E. Stevens Concert & Lecture fund. The February 6 program will be hosted at the History Center, 1730 N. Main Street in Sycamore. The lunch series is on the first Thursday of the month throughout the year.
