
Exhibit Grand Re-Opening
The DeKalb County History Center is excited to announce the Grand Re-Opening of the award-
winning exhibit “History of DeKalb County in 100 Objects” on Saturday, June 11, scheduled from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Discover the “History of DeKalb County in 100 Objects” exhibit with this celebration to include the Jr. Volunteers showcasing their video projects and a special Wurlitzer Harp performance by Ellison Xu, the #1 IL HS Harpist!
This exhibit is a great way to be introduced to DeKalb County history – there is something for everyone. There is a train table for younger children, videos created by teenagers, a scavenger hunt for families and some really interesting stories for all ages.
The exhibit is generously sponsored by IDEAL INDUSTRIES Foundation, Shaw Media, First Midwest Bank, LEDiL, Banner Up and OC Creative.
Admission is free to members and children under the age of 14. $5 for adults.
