Colonial Tea & Talk

The General John Stark Chapter with the DeKalb County History Center will be holding a “Colonial Tea and Talk”. Local author, Sally Walker who wrote the book “Within Our Power: The Story of the Edenton Ladies Tea Party” will be speaking about the significance of the Edenton, North Carolina ladies’ commitment to boycott the tea tax. This was one of the sparks that set off the Revolutionary War.

Assorted teas and refreshments will be served. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required!
