Brown Bag Lunch Series: Historic Homes Tour Sneak Preview

Get a glimpse inside some of Sycamore’s “Whimsical Homes” during a sneak peek of the annual Pumpkin Fest Historic Homes Tour.

During the next Brown Bag Lunch program, the DeKalb County History Center’s House Walk Committee will “reveal” this year’s featured homes and share information about volunteer opportunities during the Annual Historic Homes Tour. This year’s theme is “Whimsical Homes,” and will showcase a wide variety of homes all with intriguing stories.

The Pumpkin Fest Historic Homes Tour will be held on October 25 from 10:00 – 4:00. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact the History Center at 815-895-5762. Volunteers who attend a training on October 18 at 10:00, work a three hours shift on October 25, will receive a free ticket – a $25 value!
