Book Signing: Bob Hill

The Sycamore High School graduate (Class of 1960) has a new memoir, Out Here, that includes many of his favorite columns that covers a career that began at his hometown weekly newspapers, the Sycamore Sun-Tribune and True Republican.

 

In his 33 years at the Louisville Courier-Journal, columnist Bob Hill wrote 14 books and more than 4,000 columns, using humor, whimsy, truth, passion, and his sense of place to portray the lives, losses, and triumphs of everyday people and their communities.

 

Bob received the Ernie Pyle Legacy Award from the National Society of Newspaper Columnists.

Bob will sign copies of Out Here at the DeKalb County History Center (1730 N Main St, Sycamore) on Saturday, May 10, from 1-3pm.
